Carbon Footprint

The Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) is a measure of the damage caused by human activities to the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide, and consists of two main items: a direct (primary) footprint and an indirect (secondary) footprint.

The primary footprint is the direct CO2 emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels, including domestic energy consumption and transportation (e.g. cars and airplanes), while the secondary footprint is the indirect CO2 emissions associated with the entire life cycle of the products we use and their manufacture and eventual degradation measure of emissions.

This is an important element for the development of a climate action strategy. By analyzing the carbon footprint, it is possible to identify emission reduction potentials, take appropriate measures, and set climate action targets.

As Multipak, we aim to be a "Carbon Neutral" company by 2025 and a "Carbon-Free" company by 2030, by continuously reducing the amount of corporate carbon emissions that we have started to measure since 2020.
